“Almost everything has been retouched, and that perfection is terrorizing the world.” – Peter Lindbergh
A portrait is intended to showcase your authentic inner beauty, your character, and your humanity, captured at a single moment in time. It is worthy of careful consideration and planning, and you deserve a photographer who can provide their artistic vision and expertise to make it happen.
I am that photographer.

"I have never seen myself so vulnerable, un-edited and real...and felt so beautiful." - Cassia V
Helping you feel and look your very best starts with a conversation.
You have a unique personality and a style all your own - even if you don't get to show yourself every day - and a photoshoot with me is a special opportunity to be all that you want to be. I ask every one of my clients "How do you want to be seen?" and together we'll craft a session that is authentic to your true self, both celebratory and accepting.

Our pre-session planning will include a discussion of outfits, themes, locations and props. I'll help you figure out what to wear and how to wear it for the widest variety of looks, so by the time your session rolls around you'll know exactly what to expect and feel confident to be seen, knowing you're in good hands. We'll also talk about the kind of art you'd like to create, so we can tailor your session flow and timing to suit. If you pre-pay for albums or wall-art you'll receive discounts and other perks! Premium Portraiture sessions include a variety of exclusive options, such as high-resolution scans, indoor studio time, locations like the Cummer Museum Gardens, and inclusive hair/make-up if needed.

What happens during a personal portraiture session?
Most of my clients have never had a photoshoot just for themselves, but whether you're a pro in front of the camera, or nervous at the thought of it, my personal approach on the day will guarantee you'll look your best.
Drawing on my experience and training in fashion, traditional, and glamor photography, I'll direct you through poses and movements that will make the session feel effortless and fun! In a no-rush, no-pressure session, you'll be given the space you need to feel yourself, and be inspired to craft art from the simple act of being. Using light, shade, posing, and angles we'll craft flattering and authentically real images, so you can look at your photographs and say "That's the real me".
Everyone has their own view of themselves, and sometimes that view is at odds with how others perceive them. For my portraiture, I believe it's important that people end up seeing themselves as they truly want to be seen, and not as a role or personality intended for someone else.
Delightfully Demure
Simple and elegant, these classically posed images can show you dressed up or down as you see fit. Perfect for celebrating wins, or just for the sake of updated prints, nearly half off my clients choose to be seen this way and they're ideal for display at home or work.

Dazzlingly Decadent
Using movement and posing techniques drawn from true fashion photography, this is the ideal style for showing off those date night looks or gala outfits. My clients often use this approach to celebrate self, creating images that are leveled up from traditional portraiture and look stunning as wall-art.

Deliciously Daring
I create a space where every client feels free to express who they truly are. This style of portraiture invites the broadest range of poses and expressions and celebrates the human form and the spirit behind it. These images can be edgy, fun, sensual, or all of the above – and they result in stunning collections for group displays or albums. It’s all about showing up as your authentic self, and letting that shine though, without apology.

Defiantly Denuded
Only a few people feel called to show themselves in this way, but those that do understand the quiet power of simplicity. In these moments, less becomes more, and beauty rises from presence not performance. Guided by the highest level of trust, intention, and tasteful artistry, these images carry the essence of Fine Art – pieces that don’t just capture a moment, but elevate it into something honest, soulful, and deeply personal. For those who feel called to explore this deeper layer of vulnerability and artful self-reveal, the space is there.

The analog advantage.
Film has an aesthetic that still can't be accurately recreated in photoshop, with a higher tolerance for over-exposure than any digital camera, and grain that is naturally flattering without filters or edits. I work with a selection of film stocks that give you a choice of different vibes based on your needs. Whether you need high-fidelity skin tones, vibrant colors, contrasty black-and-white, or a throwback to the heyday of film photography, there is a film stock to match. Combined with the use of classic lenses, your portraits will have a distinctive and timeless look that will look beautiful on your wall or in your hands.
I develop and scan all my film myself. This creative control helps me maintain my own individual style, while retaining the authenticity that my clients expect.
